6 reasons Bernie might be the only one who can beat Trump
Passion and integrity are key elements
Apparently there is panic among the establishment Democrats because Bernie is surging. Again. Just like he surged back in 2016.
Some news outlets were reporting that the establishment was hoping that Bloomberg could “save the day”, since support for the “electable” Biden is cratering. Yet anyone who saw the Nevada debate on Wednesday knows that Bloomberg is not the solution. He underwhelmed.
Instead of panicking and trying to find the “acceptable alternative” to Bernie Sanders, perhaps the establishment needs to respect the will of the voters who will, after all, eventually determine the winner of the 2020 election.
Here are five reasons why I think Bernie might be the Democrat most likely to beat Donald Trump.
1. Bernie has a passionate base — just like Trump
One thing people seem to forget — Trump wasn’t popular with Republicans in 2016. He didn’t win majorities, he won pluralities. There were conservatives who became staunch never-Trumpers.
