Again, why are you repeating what others have already said, and which I've already acknowledged is a good point? It's fine if you just like to be argumentative but I'm less likely to pay attention to you if all you do is make the same basic point that others have already made.

Re, the one new thing in your comment... I think it's great if a reporter could save a drowning child or stop a robbery, etc., though I totally get why someone in a place like Afghanistan or the People's Republic of China would not want to get involved. really no excuse, though, in a place like NYC. If you see a rape happening on a train there, I don't really care if you're a journalist. If you can stop it from happening without great risk to yourself, you do it. At the very least, you call the cops.
