also, for my history degree, I focused on the early modern period and mostly on Great Britain and the American colonies. As you probably know, the higher you get, the narrower your focus when it comes to academia.

While I love Russian literature and classical music, my knowledge of Russian history is less than stellar. So I'm learning more about this region but it's not like I am any sort of expert. Another reason I appreciate having people ask questions or offer differing viewpoints.
