Also, I think you misinterpreted what I said? It had been a while since I wrote the article, so I re-read it and you didn't get my meaning. Maybe the issue is that I wasn't clear enough.
The sentence you highlighted was based on comments made by AFRICANS themselves on why they resented Indians.
It doesn't factor in the legitimate causes for the problems - the fact that African cultures had been decimated by centuries of colonization, invasion and abuse. I also point out that Indians brought on some of what happened by pointing out that Indians discriminated against blacks.
I point out that Indians discriminating against blacks is unacceptable.
So, I am not sure why you think I have no respect for Africans?
The article was not meant as a joke. The Indians who lost their homes, livelihoods and so on suffered. Maybe YOU don't care about their suffering but they did suffer. For me, true empathy means you care about others who don't look like you.
So I DO care about Africans who suffer - such as those who were put in the back of the line when trying to leave Ukraine. I state that quite clearly. IF YOU cannot empathize with the suffering of groups aside from your own - then that is not my problem.
And by my empathizing with the suffering of Indians forced out of Africa - I am NOT defending them being brought into Africa by the British. Uganda should never have been colonized, and if the Ugandans did not want immigrants, then their will should be obeyed. I mean, it's their country.
I think, frankly, you misunderstood my POV.
