Animals are sentient beings but animals do kill and eat each other. I love my cat and with me she is sweet and gentle, but if a mouse gets in the house, she is not gentle with the mouse. She’s not even humane if she kills it before I stop her and set the mouse free.

In an ideal world the lion would like with the lamb and there would be no death. I wish we had an ideal world.
