Bernie Sanders Repeat?
Is the Democratic Party once again shooting itself in the foot?
I was watching the YouTube channel for Breaking Points today. I used to watch this when it was on The Hill’s site, because I like the respectful back and forth between an intelligent, insightful progressive and her conservative counterpart.
The two of them end up in agreement more often than you would think. And they stick to making their case. No name-calling, mockery, interruptions, or other rude behavior. The type of adult political dialog that engages your mind and makes you think.
Today, Krystal pointed out that the MSM put out a laundry list of people supposedly “running” against Joe Biden — everyone from Michelle Obama to Alexandria Ocasio Cortez to Gavin Newsom. However, none of these has actually stated they are running.
Meanwhile, the two candidates who are seriously running against Biden? The only site that has done a poll including them is Fox News.
The two candidates that have actually come out against Joe Biden are Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Marianne Williamson, and, here are the current poll numbers among Democratic primary voters:
- Joe Biden: 62%
- RFK Jr.: 19%
- Marianne Williamson: 9%
