The title comes from a conversation I had with a friend back in my 20s, when someone told me French women pee standing up. I was intrigued, and apparently so are other people. Who knew? If you’d asked me, I’d never have guessed anyone gave a f*ck about people peeing…. then again, if both my friend and I remember the conversation, maybe there’s a reason.
