Dreams are Limitless
But you have to dream before dreams can come true
Anywhere you can dream is good, providing the place is obscure, and the horizon is vast. — Victor Hugo
Sometimes we forget to dream.
We are caught in daily life.
We are caught in what seems like drudgery — the daily chores that are a part of life.
We are the responsible ones. We change the toilet paper rolls because our roommate never does. And someone has to do it.
We buy the groceries because if we don’t do it — there won’t be food in the pantry. And we all need to eat.
Yet we start to rebel. Are our dreams not important? Because we realize that we are creatures of earth as well as air, are we not allowed space to dream?
The best way to give ourselves the space to dream — to give ourselves space.
Away from the people in our lives. Away from the chores.
Take a walk out in nature, and focus on what really matters to us. Even if it’s just a tiny speck, glimmering on the horizon — the vastness of heaven framing that which is most important to who we are.
How often do we prioritize someone else’s dream?
