Elon Musk Getting Flak For Wanting Peace
He hooked Ukraine up with Starlink but he doesn’t want nuclear war
People are angry at Elon Musk. What else is new?
This time it’s because he wants peace between the Ukraine and Russia. So here’s the question — would it be better to escalate until we have a full-fledged nuclear conflict? With millions of people dying?
How does this help anyone?
To say that Musk is somehow a Russian stooge is unfair. After all, he gave Starlink access to the Ukraine. He even got a thank you from Ukrainian President Zelensky for doing this.
Yet now, for suggesting a peace deal, he is labelled as pro-Russia.
Here’s Musk’s response, via Twitter:
It’s a valid point. One can be pro-Ukraine without wanting to see millions of people, both Ukrainians and Russians, die.
He points out that Russia has three times the population of the Ukraine, so in an all out war, Ukraine may be devastated.
