Fairy Tea Party at Local Toy Store
A darn good time was had by all
A little while ago I got home from a Fairy Tea Party. This is an annual tradition at a local toy store, Terra Toys. I went with a friend and her 4 year old son. We all had a great time.
My friend really needed the time of silliness and fun. She’s been having a rough time this summer.
I knew a few of the people working at the store since I have displayed my art there. They have an art gallery/coffee shop area at one end where local artists display and sell their work and where you can get a variety of tasty treats.
The Fairy Tea Party had several activities. We got to wear fun costumes and get our pictures taken with fairy tale creatures. We could get our faces painted — I chose the fire fairy option since I like flames.
We could create our own fairies, picking the hair we wanted, having the faces painted, and dressing them up with flower petals and little beads for shoes. We could equip them with wands and sprinkle glitter over them and ourselves.
