First off, you look like you're a white woman. I'm a person of color. So maybe, just maybe, I've experienced more real racism than you have? Being angry at racism doesn't mean I can't put aside my own personal feelings and look at something objectively. This is something that mature adults are supposed to be able to do. You make sound decisions based on facts, evidence, data - not based on emotion.

given the situation - if he hadn't shot Rosenbaum, he would have DIED. At least, that is what the evidence points to.

Would it have been better for a 17 year old kid to be killed by a middle-aged pedophile? You may not know this, but Rosenbaum had anally raped at least 5 little boys - that is what he was convicted of, and served time in prison for. While this is IRRELEVANT to Rittenhouse's guilt, it does keep me from mourning that particular death.

Should Rittenhouse have gone to Kenosha? No. But he was RUNNING AWAY from his attackers. If they had LEFT HIM ALONE, no one would have been shot. So, here you've got three GROWN MEN chasing a 17 year old kid. One of them (Rosenbaum) verbally threatened him (according to a witness), chased and cornered him (according to video evidence) and tried to take his gun away from him (according to forensic evidence). Another grown man hit him over the head with a skateboard twice. A third guy, according to his own testimony in court, pointed a gun at Rittenhouse.

ALL OF THE PEOPLE KILLED WERE WHITE. Also, all of them were the aggressor, unless you can somehow think that when someone is running away, they are the aggressor. Note: when someone with a gun is running away from you - let them go!
