For me, when a man asks me out, he pays. When I ask him out, I pay. For a first date, if he asks me out and asks my opinion on where to go, I will suggest we meet for coffee. That way, if I am not interested in a second date, he is only out the price of a cup of coffee, and that’s what I get, not one of the fancy drinks. If I like him and want a second date, I let him know at the end of the first date, because I don’t like to play head games.
