Good for you. I once lived in the country and loved it. People were easy going. Cats could wander in and out. Neighbors were helpful. I now live in the suburbs. I'd like it except for the HOA. They won't let me xeriscape. It would be good for the environment since it wastes less water and good for bees and butterflies. But they just want a green lawn...
