He is Risen!!!!
The joy I feel in my heart today overcomes the pain of cancer
As some people might know, I am fighting off a metastatic brain, liver, and lung cancer. I deal with many chronic issues thanks to both the cancer and various treatments I have been doing.
Yet, today I woke up with joy despite the pain.
Because I know Jesus loves me and thanks to Him I am not afraid of death.
This morning I listened to my favorite Easter song. It’s by Second Chapter of Acts, and here is the YouTube link.
I love this song and listen to it every Easter. It brings me joy, something I need right now.
Today I am focusing on Him, not on my own self.
I can’t go to church today, which I will miss, because I am going through chemo and so I need to avoid crowds. Plus I have balance issues and become tired more easily. It is hard being so frail.
Yet, when I am weak, He is strong.
