Here's the thing - the Bible says both partners in a marriage belong to each other. It's not the woman alone who belongs to the man. It's a two-way street. It also says not to deny each other sex, except by mutual agreement. But this does not mean rape, by any means. It tells men to love their wives as Christ loved the church. Somehow rape does not seem to fit with that! Also, Song of Solomon depicts mutual pleasure. What is really sad is that for many Christian women, marital sex is considered a duty instead of an act of love or pleasure. Why is that? Is that God's will for us, or a result of the world's corruption?
