Hi, I also wrote about using SWIFT to counteract Russia... then later yesterday I noticed that some actions were indeed taken but... only a partial effort with only certain Russian banks being targeted. The real issue, IMHO, is that Germany needs Russian gas, particularly in winter. Once upon a time, America was a net exporter of fuel but under the Biden administration we are now a net importer of fuel. That changes how much we can actually do...
