It keeps me alive

I was diagnosed with metastatic brain, liver, and lung cancer in April of 2021. I was given 6 months to live. It’s now been 2 years and 7 months and I am still alive.
I am fragile, particularly after my last round of chemo. They didn’t have the drug that my body responded well to so they substituted something else that my body hated. I ended up in the ER for three days recently partly due to this. I will not take this drug again.
Yet I am filled with hope thanks to the Lord of joy and peace. He makes my cup run over.
To be honest, while I love my medical team, ultimately I give credit to the Divine for my life. The doctors predicted I had very little time left despite their best efforts. But God did not publish an expiration date.
