I actually agree with you that there are also plenty of black people on both sides of the aisle that deserve recognition.
What I have an issue with is RACIST ATTACKS.
And I don't care about the race of the person. You can disagree with someone without engaging in racist or sexist attacks.
that means Chinese, Native Americans, whites... anyone, actually. You can attack someone's politics but I don't like it when race or sex are brought into it.
The first time I remember getting upset about this kind of crap was when Jocelyn Elders was being attacked. She was Clinton's Surgeon General and overcame many hurdles to get to wher she was. Then she made a comment that was taken out of context and the attacked.
