I am a traditional liberal. That means I believe in the rights and dignity of all people, regardless of race, gender, etc.

And basically - I agree with you. The media really lied to people. Some people thought Rittenhouse killed black people, because the media did not accurately report what happened.

_I_ thought Rittenhouse was guilty as heck until I actually read the courtroom testimony and saw the video. Then I realized - the media played us for fools.

I'm not saying racism doesn't exist, but the law should be blind and treat everyone the same. Even if Rittenhouse WERE a disgusting, vile racist and white supremacist - he is still entitled to the same basic human rights as the rest of us. When we dehumanize people we don't like, we get things like the Holocaust.
