I am child free and so are several of my friends... but we LIKE children well enough. We just didn't want to do the work that they require (or were focused on other things, etc.) When I spend time with friends who have children, I can enjoy the children for short periods - more than 2-3 hours I find them exhausting. But I don't hate them.

There are many reasons women (and men) choose not to have children. It's too bad that the groups you found don't have people like that!
