I am glad you mentioned factory farms. I think they are one of the worst things about modern society. I only buy pastured meat and eggs, and I no longer buy dairy products. This is because I don't support torturing animals. They also have feelings. Allowing them to have access to sunlight, fresh air, companionship and natural activities not only is more humane, it also produces healthier food.
