I am much more relaxed than you are about Covid, but, that's MY choice. NO ONE should make fun of you for being more cautious and I think that sales person who was trying to talk you into something you didn't feel safe doing was totally out of line.

This is YOUR body, YOUR health - and also the people you care about. So you need to do what is best for your situation and people need to respect that.

Like I said, I'm much more relaxed than you are but I have friends who are super cautious. When we get together, I respect their boundaries. If they need to meet outdoors with plenty of distance to get together, that is what we do.

And long COVID is not a joke.
