I Gained Weight But I Needed To

Sometimes you need to take two steps back before you can move forward again

I was diagnosed with metastatic brain cancer back in April of 2021. At the time I was quite overweight which probably contributed to my diagnosis.

I did a lot of research about ways to fight cancer. Out of the blue, someone reached out to me with research on using fish oils to fight cancer. I added these supplements to my diet in addition to following traditional cancer therapies as needed. I’ve also added other supplements and alternative protocols and I think they’ve helped greatly.

I’ve tried to share my journey here so if anyone else is dealing with cancer, they can hopefully find useful information. Some of my articles are published in Wholistique, which is a Medium publication.

One of the things I’ve tried is fasting.

Intermittent fasting for the most part, but also, I read research papers that indicated that fasting before chemotherapy can make that treatment more effective. I share what I’ve found here:
