I had cancer and recovered. I started dating again after my husband left me. I am now engaged to a wonderful man who has taken me to chemo when the cancer came back. The difference? I was totally up front about my cancer. My fiance knew up front that I had had cancer and so there was a risk. We are not married yet and have decided to wait until we see what happens. In the meantime, though, he is always there when I need him.

If I were your friend, I would IMMEDIATELY file for divorce and get the heck out of that situation, because this man USED HER.

If he had been honest and up front, it would be different.

And, BTW, I know many wives who are the primary caretaker for their husbands, but it's different when you've had 40 years of true love before the sh*t hits the fan... pardon my language.
