I hate factory farms. Animals are not widgets. They have emotions. Pigs are as intelligent as dogs. If you can be vegan, do it. If you must eat meat, buy only pasture raised, pasture finished. The one thing you should never buy is milk - because there is no way to get humane milk. The male calves are always taken from their mothers. What blows my mind is that people who claim to care about animal cruelty still buy factory farm raised meat. Or buy products that were tested on animals. Or are OK with drug testing on animals. None of this is OK.
