I have a large German Shepherd. He's pretty friendly and sweet for the most part. He's been well socialized and he's good with kids. But there have been times on walks when he's gotten alert and put himself between me and a strange man who was approaching. Each time, the person thought better of it and left me alone. I really appreciate my dog.

Not sure if that type of thing would help you... but I support whatever you do to keep sleazy people from bothering you.
