I have an idea - how about if we just treat everyone as an individual?

SOME black people will be jerks, criminals, etc., just like SOME white people are jerks, criminals, etc., and SOME Asians, etc. And other black people, white people and so on will be absolutely wonderful. You can't tell just by the skin color who that person is. And even if the person is, say, a criminal - that doesn't tell the whole story. Maybe a guy is in jail for a petty crime but he always treated his mother well, went to the store for sick neighbors, rescued abused animals, etc. One bad thing does not define a whole human being.

Not all Asians want to be engineers and doctors, despite parental pressures from their culture, not all Nigerian immigrants are going to be super successful (and so what if they aren't?) and not all whites grew up in the suburbs. If we treat each person as a unique individual instead of part of some group, maybe we can actually have a real relationship based on the real person? JMHO
