I love animals and as a kid I loved the movie “Born Free”, so yes, I would be ABSOLUTELY thrilled to be able to pet a lion cub or have a relationship like the one Joy had with Elsa. Guess what? I am not going to do this because what _I_ want is less important than what is good for these animals. If you really love something, you put their needs ahead of your own wants. And these animals need to be free. We need to conserve wild spaces for them.

Same with elephants — going on elephant rides is not OK because of what happens to the elephants to get them to the point where they will give you a ride.

We all need to be educated and we need to keep wild spaces wild for the animals. We already have 95% of the earth. Can’t we give up 5% so these species can live their lives in peace?
