I love animals but... not everyone does. I do think that people who let their animals run amok need to take responsibility. My dog and cat do NOT jump on the table and steal food or pee on carpets - I've taught them better. And if we're going for a walk, I make sure my dog leaves people alone who are obviously not interested.

It's just respect and courtesy, right?

But I love pets, and am happy when a strange dog jumps on me, or when a strange cat wants a pet. :)
