I recently wrote an article on men and rape, which has been on my mind for a while. Many years ago, I was stalked by a man. One reason I didn’t send him to prison — I didn’t want him to be raped. He would have been a prime target. I did find other ways to try to make sure he wouldn’t hurt me or any one else… but the issue of prison rape has bothered me for a while. Why is it considered a joke when a man is raped? Why is prison rape considered OK?

Anyway, I address these issues in this article: https://medium.com/@shefaliohara/rape-is-never-funny-bf6a9317a525

I hope it’s OK I am sharing with you. I thought you might find it interesting.
