I saw a lot of what you described when I moved to rural South Carolina. I had always thought Catholics were just another variant of Christian, then I was told they were a cult… it’s like these people had never heard of the Protestant Reformation or read any history. Martin Luther was a Catholic monk who was upset about some excesses within the church, but the church he belonged to was Catholic… same type of stuff bothers me when I hear Christians who are anti-Semitic. Hello, Jesus was a nice Jewish boy, a rabbi…
