Yep, I found myself nodding while reading your article.

I saw that movie for the first time as an adult and I love it too but I was always a little put off by some of the misogyny. But, it's a period piece. For its time and place, it was a really good movie and the actors are superb.

It's unfortunately sorta hard to get around the misogyny when you enjoy classic movies... or racism for that matter. I'm glad we continue to evolve as a society!

But, I don't want to be at a point where women are all of the primary breadwinners, I'd rather we have a balanced society where men and women were equal partners. :)
