I think a prenup makes a lot of sense for both parties. When my bf proposed, I was the one who brought it up. It's like any contract. If you are planning to honor your commitment, then you have no issue with it. If you were not so honorable, then of course you will fight it.

In addition to a prenup, having detailed conversations about everything from finances to sex and caring for aging parents is a good idea, whether with a counselor or pastor or just the two of you.

If the partner is unwilling to compromise than that is a red flag. Of course, you have to meet them half way!
