I Told Him His Nose Was Too Big
He still kept pursuing me
I was in graduate school. It was my first year so I didn’t want to date. Because as much as I love men, they can be a huge emotional sink and I need to focus on schoolwork.
Unfortunately, one of the guys in the residence hall was into me.
He kept asking me out. I kept telling him we could be friends.
I guess that was my mistake. He heard that we could be friends and assumed that could mean more.
It didn’t.
I kept telling him no, but I genuinely did like him, at least at first. I would have been happy being friends. I have guy friends and I enjoy their company. I like having conversations, playing board games, and so on. I don’t have any ulterior motives, I just like men.
After a while though, I no longer liked this guy.
When he realized I really meant it when I told him I didn’t want to date, he played dirty.
He lied about me to mutual friends. Some of whom actually believed him. It was weird. Are people really that gullible?
The thing is he was quite charming. And obviously he wasn’t a nice guy.
Then he did things that were frankly stalker-ish. He saw me walking with a guy friend to the…
