I used to live in South Carolina.

It was am amazing achievement for Haley, as an Indian-American woman, to become Governor of that state given how racist and sexist it was at the time. She was also the youngest person to become Governor, I think.

She was actually very popular in the state, bringing jobs to the state and keeping unemployment low. She managed to build coalitions.

The big issue that caused controversy - she took the Confederate flag down from the statehouse. That puts her on the sh*t list with a lot of conservatives, but it was the right thing to do.

Do I think she would win? No, not in the party of TRUMP. <gag>

I can't stand Trump and if we have to have a GOP President I'd prefer a woman of color like Haley or honestly just about anyone. However, I think we can feel pretty secure that Biden will be re-elected.
