I was watching a video on Wion last night where Indian students leaving Ukraine were also being harassed. I think that kind of thing makes Ukraine less sympathetic. Not that anyone condones the invasion of Ukraine, but there were reasons for why Russia did this - there was a treaty I think 14 years ago in which it was agreed that Ukraine and other former Soviet satellites would not join NATO. Russia has always been paranoid, so it wanted the assurance of a buffer.

Anyway, this was a really good and interesting article. I learned more about the China/Russia relationship and it totally makes sense. I think given the cluelessness and missteps by the USA, China is achieving its goal of being the next superpower.
