Circumstances change. Maybe he loses his job, maybe she gets cancer and loses a breast. if you have a real bond, none of that will matter. I mean, it does matter but you will still love and care for each other.

But not everyone wants that kind of relationship. some people want the black and white simplicity of a transaction.
