I wrote about how, when I grew up in NYC, I assumed Jews were white because most of my Jewish friends were either Russian or German Jews. But then I read about the history, etc., and learned that yes, there was some truly evil racism.

There is nothing wrong with being ignorant - it just means you don't know stuff. But there is no excuse for maintaining prejudice once you learn the facts.

Antisemitism is evil, just like every other form of hatred. It's never cool to hate Jews.
