I wrote an article on this - when I was in college I took a scientific approach to dating. As an experiment, I tried treating men as equals. And it was a disaster.

When I acted according to traditional roles, I got a lot of dates. When I asked men out and paid for them at least half the time - men lost interest.

Men and women are equal, but they are also different.
