If you love your pet, you will do what is best for them.

At the same time, pigs and cows and chickens also deserve a good life. Just because they are not traditional pets does not mean they are not important.

I support the pastured meat and wild-caught fish movements. Pastured meat is a lot more expensive. That is the price for allowing innocent animals to not be tortured in tiny enclosures and it’s a price we should be willing to pay if we are going to consume meat or provide it to our companion animals. Yet these animals still do suffer when they are killed.

This is really tough for me. I can live vegan but I can’t deprive my cat what she needs to live.
