I’m 52 and I’ve NEVER had a guy not give me oral. I haven’t had a lot of partners, though. When I was younger, I was waiting for marriage to have sex. I’ve also never shaved down there and I don’t watch porn. However, I’ve read a lot of erotic books.

Back in the ’70s there was a book that emphasized mutual pleasure and had illustrations of real people — so you had a line drawing of a woman who was frankly chubby and a man with a little pot belly enjoying sex. That was my first exposure to the idea that there were lots of different positions and ways to enjoy each other.

For me, sex is about intimacy and pleasure. Of course he wants to taste me and I want to taste him. It’s a physical extension of emotional connection. My lover once had me lie on a dining room table (with pillows so I was comfortable) while he ate me for probably an hour. I had several dozen orgasms, though we lost count at some point.

We experimented with whatever took our fancy. We made love on ladders, on yoga mats, in a pool, upside down…

Men who wonder why their wives/girlfriends lose interest in sex might want to stop watching porn and read a couple of erotic manuals instead.
