I'm not against vaccines, I am against THE GOVERNMENT telling people what to do with their bodies. See the difference? Private companies can make whatever rules make sense for them. Individuals can also make choices - and it seems that many individuals are choosing to quit their jobs rather than bow to mandates re. their own bodies.
It's no different than being pro-choice. My body, my choice. Unfortunately, it is also leading to staffing shortages for essential groups like firefighters.
Your first sentence I appreciate. I may re-write my piece for clarity.
I find your last sentence to be condescending. Is that how you meant to come across?
BTW, as someone who is fighting metastatic brain and lung cancer - I have plenty of interactions with medical personnel on a regular basis. And, guess what, due to the treatments I have had, my doctor has advised against my getting vaccinated at this time!
Also, if you actually knew me, you'd know I don't watch TV. I read a lot, though. Including medical journals, since, you know, cancer. And I've got a degree from MIT and am quite conversant when it comes to statistical analysis and plowing through research journals. So, really, I'm quite capable of sifting through actual data and figuring things out.
