They are obviously loved

Recently I watched a video of dogs that are being used by the Indian military.

My parents are from India, and, as far as I know, it was never a dog oriented culture. Places like the UK and Germany always seemed much more dog friendly.

However, watching the video below, I was both surprised and pleased at how loving the interactions were between soldiers and dogs.

At the 2 minute mark and also at the 3:40 minute mark, you can see the soldiers massaging and loving on their dogs.

This warmed my heart.

Yes, these dogs are used for a job. But they are also obviously cared for.

From videos I have seen posted of American veterans who jumped through hoops to bring home a beloved retired canine, it’s obvious that many soldiers develop very deep bonds with their four-legged partners.

I am fighting stage IV cancer. If you can help with medical bills, I would really appreciate it. Or if you enjoy my writing and would like to buy me a cup of coffee, that’s great too. Maybe someday I can return the favor.
