Similarities and differences between two redheads
Once upon a time, in a place called England, there lived a King who had six wives. His name was Henry VIII.
As a young man, he was energetic and strong, six feet tall, and considered handsome with his red-gold hair. Active and extroverted, he preferred athletic endeavors to meetings and paperwork.
He liked flirting with pretty girls and being a prince and then later a king, as well as being good looking, he had no shortage of female attention.
As he grew older, however, things changed.
He became overweight and unhealthy. In paintings I have seen of him, there is always a hat on his head, so I don’t know if he was balding, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he was.
He was divorced twice but had six wives in total — the rhyme I learned to track what happened to his wives was, “Divorced, beheaded, died; divorced beheaded, survived.”
As he got older, his wives seemed to get younger. And he cheated on at least some of them according to diaries and other historical accounts.
He almost impoverished his country due to his war with France. His wife at the time, Catherine of Aragorn, played a pivotal role in leading troops, however, she…
