Is Self-Defense a Crime in Manhattan?

DA Alvin Bragg seems to care more about publicity than murder

The media is obsessed with Donald Trump and his never-ending drama.

When he lost the 2020 election, I hoped he would exit off the political stage. Yet he continues to be the focus of the media’s obsession. He takes up all available oxygen.

Given the real problems facing the country, such as people getting sick in East Palestine, kids dying from fentanyl, families unable to pay rent, and rising murder rates in American cities — one would think Trump would be consigned to the back of newspapers?

Instead, he continues to be the center of a media circus and also seems to be the focus of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s personal vendetta. Meanwhile, New York City is caught in a wave of crime and criminals seem to get away with murder while people who try to defend themselves get thrown in jail.

For example, there was the case of Manhattan bodega worker Jose Alba. More recently, there is the case of parking garage attendant Moussa Diarra.

Alba, a legal immigrant, was attacked by career criminal Austin Simon, as seen in video.
