It is so evil to alienate a child from his or her parents. Even if the parent has issues with addiction or some other problem that makes it undesirable to grant custody you can still allow proctored meetings.

I have seen this too many times, and unfortunately it is usually the mother lashing out. Using children as pawns in power games is just wrong.
