It sounds mean, but we deserve this for what we are doing to animals and the environment.

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t want people to die. But I also want them to become more conscious that torturing other sentient beings is wrong. A civet cat doesn’t want to be stuck in a cage. A pig doesn’t want to be squished in a pen with too many other pigs. Animals deserve better.
