It’s really hard to see our legal system as being fair when money and skin color are such big factors when it comes to getting justice.

However, my point is that no matter what your situation, you need to do the best with the cards you have been dealt. I have some strikes against me too (not white, female, came from a poor family) yet I just work with what I have to make a better life for myself. At the end of the day, each of us has to do that for ourselves.
