I've always fed my cat using a dish. I didn't realize how sensitive their whiskers are, but glad I managed to avoid starving mine by luck!

I think cats are very loving and sweet, but you have to accept them on their own terms. They are not people and they are not dogs. they are unique and special in their own right.
