I’ve Never Faked an Orgasm

It’s because of the stuff I read as a kid

I’ve never faked an orgasm.

I think it’s due to my reading history. I love to read. And I will read ANYTHING.

Seriously. If there’s nothing else to read, I’ll read the ingredients on the back of a box of cereal. I can’t help myself.

When I was a kid, I would stay up past curfew reading books. I’d use a flashlight and stick a towel under my bedroom door to hide the light from my parents.

I quickly outgrew children’s books and so I was reading stuff with more adult themes by the time I was 8, which is when I got into Jack London. “Watership Down” followed soon after, then “Johnathan Livingston Seagull”. I have to admit, I have a soft spot for animal stories, ’cause I love the critters.

When my parents visited people, I was as likely to browse the book shelves as to play with the other kids. Everyone praised what a good kid I was, since I was quiet and didn’t make a mess. They had no idea what I was reading!

On time, I read “Little Birds” by Anais Nin. I saw it on a bookshelf, and liked the illustration on the cover. I was a bit shocked at what I found inside, but once I started, I couldn’t put it down. The book introduced me to physical pleasure. It’s erotic, not pornographic…
